Paying Tribute to Annie Snyder: One of Casa Blanca’s Original Owners

William and Annemarie Snyder purchased Units 2 and 3 shortly after the conversion of the Casa Blanca Inn to condos. They chose Unit 2 because of the beautiful views and heart-shaped bathtub – Unit 2 was Casa Blanca Inn’s honeymoon suite! The Snyders heard about the Casa Blanca conversion through their friend, George Christensen, who had designed three of their homes. William went on to become first HOA Board President. Annie, née Schuemann, was born in Germany and grew up in Mexico City. Over her lifetime, her careers included flight attendant and professional ice skater but her main focus was her family. Annie lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in March; she was 95.
